Pangi Johnson is the recipient of the 2008-09 Duquesne University Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Teaching. She was accepted by the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Ph.D. student in the Pharmacology discipline in August, 2005. She, along with her Advisor Dr. Vicki Davis, are studying how hormones are affected by environmental pollutants. Upon completion of her Ph.D. degree she hopes to join the pharmaceutical industry.
