The Program

Students are accepted into the School of Pharmacy as pre-professional students.  Strong preference is given to students who start at Duquesne as freshmen in the pre-pharmacy program.  Approximately 85% of the professional phase is made-up of Duquesne pre-pharmacy students.

    Student Activities
    Our students maintain high academic standards while participating in numerous student organizations and activities.  They prepare for their future role as community health care leaders through a variety of service learning projects such as poison prevention, alcohol awareness, conduct seminars on disease states such as diabetes, hypertension and lipid disorders at local hospitals and pharmacies.
